FAQ: Everything You Need to Know About Pyrova

1. What kind of fire pits do you sell?

We've got a range that covers most setups, outdoor fire pits, tabletop models, portable ones you can take camping or to the beach, and larger fire pit tables for your patio or garden. Whether you want something compact for a balcony or a proper centrepiece for your back garden, we've got you sorted.

2. Do your fire pits use real flames?

Yes, all our fire pits are wood-burning. Simply add dry wood, logs or charcoal and light it up. Each product page includes the full specifications so you know exactly what you're getting. If you have any questions, drop us an email at hello@pyrova.co.uk.

3. Are your fire pits safe to use on a wooden deck or patio?

Some of them are, but you need to check the product details first. Certain models come with heat shields or raised bases that make them safe for decking. For others, we'd recommend using a fireproof mat underneath, better safe than sorry. If you're unsure, just ask us.

4. What are the exact delivery times for the United Kingdom?

Here's how it works:

  • We process your order in 1 to 2 business days (Monday to Friday).
  • Then it's 2 to 5 business days in transit (Monday to Friday).
  • So in total, you're looking at 3 to 7 business days from the moment you order.

5. Can I leave my fire pit outside all year round?

Most of our fire pits are built to handle the outdoors, but leaving them out through a British winter without any protection isn't ideal. We'd strongly recommend using a cover (we sell those too) or storing it somewhere dry when you're not using it for a while. It'll last years longer that way.

6. Do I need to assemble the fire pit myself?

Depends on the model. Some arrive fully assembled and ready to go straight out of the box. Others need a bit of putting together, nothing complicated though, we're talking 15 to 30 minutes with basic tools. Assembly instructions are always included.

7. What if I change my mind after receiving my order?

No stress, you've got 14 days from delivery to request a return. Get in touch at hello@pyrova.co.uk. The fire pit needs to be unused and in its original packaging. Just a heads up: return shipping for change-of-mind returns is on you.

8. What if my fire pit arrives damaged?

Contact us right away at hello@pyrova.co.uk, you've got 10 days from delivery to let us know. Send over a few photos of the damage and tell us what's wrong. We'll sort a replacement or full refund, and we'll cover the return shipping too.

9. How do I clean and maintain my fire pit?

For wood-burning models, wait until it's completely cold, then scoop out the ash and give the bowl a wipe down. For gas or bioethanol models, a damp cloth does the job. Don't use anything abrasive, it'll scratch the finish. A quick clean after each use keeps it looking mint.

10. Is it legal to have a fire pit in my garden in the UK?

Yes, fire pits are perfectly legal in the UK. That said, you should be considerate of your neighbours, don't let smoke blow into their windows and avoid burning anything that creates excessive smoke. If you live in a smoke control area, stick with smokeless fuel or go for a gas/bioethanol model instead.

11. How can I track my order?

You'll get a tracking number by email as soon as your order ships. From there you can follow your parcel in real-time on our "Order Tracking" page. If something doesn't look right, get in touch, we get back to everyone within 24 hours.
